The EDMUS coordinating center

The EDMUS Coordinating Center has two missions:

At the technical level

It keeps on developing, maintains and distributes the EDMUS software.

The Coordinating Center keeps in touch with users of the EDMUS software to receive their comments and answer their needs, and take them into account for new versions of the EDMUS software. In coordination with the developer, it designs the successive versions of the software, tests them and validates them.

The Center grants EDMUS users a technical support by e-mail or by phone.

The Center also welcomes, for a short training, the persons who wish to get used to the software, or to improve their knowledge of its functions. Training sessions can also be organized in the user's premises.

At the scientific level

It promotes and coordinates collaborative studies using the EDMUS software.

When the idea of a research project seems well-founded and realistic to the EDMUS Coordinating Center, it advertises it to the users' group inviting them to take part in it. The ECTRIMS and JNLF congresses, as well as the ACADEDMUS days, are also a great opportunity to exchange ideas about possible collaborations.

An ad hoc scientific workgroup is set up, and a protocol is designed and validated by the workgroup. The EDMUS Coordinating Center may play a role in the different steps of the clinical trials, as an advisor for the methodology and, if need be, as a participating team to the study.
