I have downloaded EDMUS, now what do I do?
Once you’ve finished downloading EDMUS, follow these simple instructions to install it on your Mac.
1 Open the disk image: When the download is complete, you will see an "EDMUS4_Installer.dmg" disk image in your downloads folder (often, your Desktop). Double click that disk image: a disk named “EDMUS 4 Installation” will appear on your desktop, open it.
2 Install EDMUS: In this disk you will find the installer program itself (EDMUS 4 Installer.app), as well as a help file:
- EDMUS 4 - Installation instructions.pdf
Read the instructions carefully, then double-click the installer program to start the installation of EDMUS.
In the installer, you will see a series of setup screens. Be sure to follow the instructions on each screen carefully. You will be asked to read and agree to a license agreement, and choose whether you are making a new installation or an update.
3 Eject the disk image: Now that EDMUS is installed, you can eject the disk image. You can delete the EDMUS4_Installer.dmg file as well.
